GFXNews and AudioNews are without a doubt two of the most specialized private torrent trackers in the BitTorrent scene. Although we have posted about these sites before, now is time for an updated article as lately there’ve been lots of changes surrounding these trackers. For those who haven’t heard about them, GFXNews is a site that specializes in 3D animation, web design, graphics design, templates and so on (similar to TemplateP2P) while AudioNews deals with audio apps, music editing, music authoring, sheet music, sound effects, etc (similar to Pro Audio Torrents, MakeGreatMusic, Audiotracer, etc). Being private trackers, both of these sites are usually invite only – good news is they are both open for signup right now and they have a new invite system in place which generates a free registration code every hour.
GfxNews and AudioNews have historically been opening signups in the first 1-2 days of every month. In addition, they now have a new invite system which generates a free registration code every hour, throughout the month (when signups are closed). Users who miss the open signup can use this registration code to create an account for themselves at Audionews and GfxNews. Note that a registration code can only be used once – you’ll need to beat others to it, if you are to use it. Initially there were three codes generated per hour (at 20 min intervals) but this was soon reduced due to abuse. GfxNews
As mentioned earlier Gfxnews is a tracker that specializes in 3d animation, graphics design, web design, web development and other related content. Apart from a lot of premium content such as templates and stock photos, there are a ton of apps for graphics editing, 3d animation, etc indexed here. Unlike most private trackers out there, Gfxnews is not limited to stuff for the Windows platform; content for both Mac and Linux are available as well. Also note that this is a great tracker to have if you are a student or enthusiast of any of the fields mentioned earlier – there are some good tutorials and E-books indexed which can come in handy for such users. Audionews
Audionews, the sister site of Gfxnews, is another forum based private tracker dealing with music related content. It doesn’t track any actual music itself but it does track a lot of music related extras such as audio apps, sample libraries, tutorials & E-books, sheet music, music editing software, audio effects and so on. If you are into learning music or into audio production, this tracker can definitely come in handy. With close to 100k members, it’s one of the largest sites around which caters to this particular niche.
