MagicProp – A New Magic Torrent Tracker Open For Signup

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – specialized magic torrent trackers are some of the hardest private trackers to get into. MagicTorrents, the last such tracker to be featured on this blog, actually required users to have a professional knowledge of magic. This is of course a fair practice if you see it from tracker staffs’ perceptive - most of these sites are built with the focus of sharing material between magicians so a member without any knowledge on the field would not do much good to the community. But if you are an amateur at magic or if you are a student planning to learn this wonderful art, here’s a magic tracker that currently has open signups. MagicProp is the newest magic torrent site on the block and open registrations would continue until the user count reaches 1000.

MagicProp is branded as a completely new tracker but it seems to be connected to AOMK (AOM Killer – another magic tracker) in some way. Numerous news posts and torrent comments found on MagicProp have references to AOMK and even the forum avatar image of MagicProp owner has the text “AOMK Owner”. This weird connection aside, MP appears to be a decent magic tracker which is around 1 month old. At time of this posting, there were around 650 active torrents indexed on MP and it had a registered user base of 300 members.

Most of the torrents indexed on MagicProp can be downloaded by anyone including new members. However, there is a trader/VIP section which does have some restrictions – files listed under this section can only be downloaded if you upload something to MagicProp first (or if you are a VIP). As said earlier, this is a specialized magic tracker – you can find video, audio and ebooks related to a wide array of magic related subjects such as Balloon, Face Painting, Fire Eating, Hypnosis, Juggling, Packet Tricks, Pick Pocketing, Prosthetics , Scripts N Patter and many more.

As mentioned earlier, MagicProp is currently open for signup. We are told that open registrations would continue until the user limit hits 1000 members – this leaves around 700 more free spots up for the taking.

uActivity – New Lifestyle Torrent Tracker From ElbitZ Crew

BitTorrent community does not have that many lifestyle related trackers. However, the few trackers out there which fall into this category such as SeductionGR, ThePlace.Bz, BitSeduce, Salad.tl, etc all seem to have a strong following and a solid footprint in the BitTorrent scene. Therefore, one would think it’s not a bad idea to start a new lifestyle themed torrent site –and that’s exactly what ElbitZ crew has done. As you may already know, ElbitZ is a well known E-Learning torrent tracker that primarily caters to educational material. uActivity is a brand new torrent site launched by the same crew. As opposed to educational stuff, this new site focuses more on lifestyle content ranging from Self Improvement, Fitness, Food, Drinking, Dancing, Health, Fitness, Seduction, NLP and Cooking to even Magic Illusions.

Although ElbitZ has been around for a couple of years, uActivity is a completely new project built from scratch. Having said that, it does have the backing of its sister site’s user base and is poised to get off to a head start – there’s already an official announcement on ElbitZ about uActivity and if I’m not mistaken EB has over 10k active members. UA hasn’t done badly in uploading new content either – it’s just been two days since the launch and already there are around 150 active indexed torrents ready for downloading.

Speaking of the content on uActivity, it’s primarily a Lifestyle, Self Improvement tracker. The official description is as follows: “uActivity is a private tracker that specializes in lifestyle content. uActivity will help you to share videos, E-books and audio files related to day to day human life. From Self Improvement, Fitness, Food, Drinking, Dancing, Health, Fitness, Seduction, NLP and Cooking to Magic Illusions and More.” Some of the available torrent categories and a few indexed torrents can be seen in the screenshot below:

Built on a customized version of TS Special Edition codebase, uActivity comes with all standard features found on a private tracker. The site is ratio based but a bonus system also exists (currently disabled) to make things easier for those who have trouble uploading back. Deli.Sh – BitTorrent Tracker For Food, Health, Cookbooks, Recipes & More

Honestly, I never though I’d live to see the birth of a food tracker. It just shows how much private trackers have expanded in the recent past. Deli.Sh is a brand new torrent tracker for all things food related. Some of you might be wondering, is ‘Food’ a big enough niche for a torrent site to focus on? This question will be answered once you take a look at the quickly expanding torrent index of Deli.Sh - cookbooks, recipes, food & health related E-books, audiobooks and even TV shows such as Hell’s Kitchen, The Naked Chef can be downloaded from this tracker. Running on the state of the art Gazelle RC2 codebase, Deli.Sh has been online ( in closed beta) for several weeks. Today, the site has finally launched to the public and signups have been opened for a limited period of time.

Since Deli.Sh recruited some users early in the beta period, it had quite a few registered (and active) members by the time it went public. When this article was being written, the site had around 1275 members, including 300+ new registrations today. This is an excellent response for a start up tracker, especially for one that’s focused on a rather uncommon niche. From what I have seen so far, member activity is pretty good with some popular torrents being seeded by 50+ seeders.

Deli.Sh currently tracks around 350 active torrents. Some of these are packs and collections so the torrent count might not reflect the actual amount of content indexed here. As said earlier, stuff you can find on this site ranges from recipes, cookbooks, food & health related TV shows, audiobooks, e-books and so on. Simultaneous to the public launch, signups have been opened at Deli.Sh. An announcement posted on homepage reads:

MagicTorrents – New Magic Tracker Now Recruiting

Over the years, we have covered many torrent sites that specialize in magic such as Art of Misdirection, AOMKiller, MagicWarrior and several others. Some of these sites are now defunct and today the BitTorrent community only has a handful magic trackers that aren’t dead. But if you are into magic, we have some good news – this article features a promising new magic tracker that’s a new entrant to the BT scene. MagicTorrents, a 2.5 months old private tracker, has done extremely well and shown a lot of promise during the short period of time it’s been online. Although not receiving too much publicity, MT seems to have attracted a lot of professional magicians who share their knowledge over P2P, making it one great resource for all kinds of materials related to this wonderful art.

In comparison to other similar magic trackers, MagicTorrents looks very solid and stable. During it’s first 2.5 months online, the site has attracted nearly 600 users and tracks around 2700 torrents which is downright impressive for a rare niche site such as this. Don’t forget that they achieved the feat while being a closed community that is highly selective in recruiting new members.

As for the content indexed on MagicTorrents, it’s all related to magic. From videos to E-books, this site tracks a lot of material across many categories such as card tricks, Money Magic, Mentalism, Close-up, Rope, Rings, Levitation, Kids Magic, XCM, Gambling, Comedy Magic, Balloons, Juggling, LockPicking, TV Shows, Magic Music, etc. A screenshot of the torrent index can be seen below:

Next question that arises when talking about a magic tracker is how to obtain an account. These types of sites are often difficult to get into due to their highly selective recruitment policies. Getting into MT is equally hard – especially if you don’t know magic. They are currently closed for signup but recruitment is open for FILEnetworks readers. However, please note that you’d actually have to know magic if you want to get in. To quote the words of one of the administrators:

we are very selective on our users. we dont need leechers, kids, interested ones, not new YouTube generation guys who just want to know the secrets or guys who are not in Magic!
we accept only ones who are really in Magic. so if someone thinks he can meet the conditions will be interviewed and maybe accpeted.”

ABTorrents – A Great Audio Book Torrent Site

Torrent sites that track audio books are not new to this blog – we’ve already covered some leading names in this niche such as My Anonamouse, Bibliotik and CatTorrent. Anyways here’s a promising new specialized private tracker that caters for audiobooks and audiobooks only; ABTorrents. ABTorrents tracks a wide range of content including fiction, children’s books, adult novels, science fiction and books relating to many other topics - mostly non educational content. After entering the BitTorrent arena several months ago back in 2009, ABTorrents has recorded some impressive growth. The site has built both a strong enough community and a rich torrent index and shows signs of becoming another BitTorrent success story. Signups are currently open and if you are a fan of audio books, you might want to check this tracker out.

As of 3/5/2010, ABTorrents currently tracks 1200+ torrents and 4400+ active members. You can’t yet compare these stats with long standing trackers such as My Anonamouse but ABTorrent’s growth in the past couple of weeks has been quite impressive. Not only has the site been adding a lot of new members but it has managed to quickly push the total torrent count past 1000 as well (and this is no easy task either, especially when it comes to a niche tracker).

Speaking of the content found on ABTorrents, there is no need to retell the fact that it’s full of audio books. The most important fact is that while most trackers tend to focus on educational content, ABTorrents has some widely sought after titles in fiction, literature, fantasy, science fiction, horror, comedy and other (non E-Learning) related categories. To get a better idea on what sort of content you can find on this tracker, have a look at the screenshot below:

As you can see above, most indexed audiobooks are encoded in MP3 format (at various bitrates). There are no specific rules governing the audio quality of an upload and even ACC, OGG, FLAC, M4A, etc files are also allowed.

Right now signups for ABTorrents are open. Currently, the site does not appear to have a maximum user limit set so it can be assumed that registrations will remain open for some time. If you are a fan of audiobooks and want to be a part of a growing tracker, don’t forget to check this site out.

BioTorrents : BitTorrent Tracker For Scientists To Share Research Data & Software

In our 3+ years of being online we have posted about nearly 1000 private torrent trackers. Among these, there were only a handful sites such as GameUpdates that dealt with 100% legal, legitimate content – all the others had a mix of both legit and pirated releases. BioTorrents is one of those rare private trackers that focus only on legal content. It’s an innovative new niche site that highlights yet another legitimate use of BitTorrent – sharing of scientific research data including large datasets and even open access software. In other words, it’s a huge data repository that can be accessed by hundreds and thousands of scientists and students worldwide.

A brief introduction to BioTorrents and an explanation as to why they opted for BitTorrent technology to power their data transfers is given on the site’s ‘about’ page (quoted below).

BioTorrents allows scientists to rapidly share their results, datasets, and software using the popular BitTorrent file sharing technology.

All data is open-access and any illegal filesharing is not allowed on BioTorrents.

We encourage researchers and organizations to share their data on BioTorrents as an alternative to hosting files through FTP or HTTP for the following reasons:

Using BioTorrents can allow researchers to download large datasets much faster.

BioTorrent’s existence itself is a very good answer to the turds who keep on harping ‘BitTorrent = illegal downloading’. This site does not host any illegal content and all of the software and data distributed are either public domain or have ‘sharing friendly’ licenses such as Creative Commons (CC), GPL and so on. BioTorrents has its own private torrent tracker (biotorrents.net/announce.php) but all of the indexed torrents are tracked by OpenBitTorrent as a backup measure. In case anyone was wondering, the site is built on TBDEV tracker script.

Note that this is still a very young tracker that is less than a week old. I don’t think it’s got much publicity yet except for an article on Ars Technica and being featured on isoHunt’s Twitter. The site currently tracks around 30 torrents and has 150+ members. These numbers will without a doubt improve as the news spreads in the science community.

As for the content, BioTorrent currently tracks torrents related to the following categories: Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Genomics, Metabolomics, Metagenomics, Miscellaneous, Papers, Password Protected, Phylogenetics, Physics, Proteomics and Transcriptomics. I have to say none of the uploads made much sense to me (since I am no scientist) but I can understand how BitTorrent technology can help reduce bandwidth costs and allow greater accessibility for content – some of those torrents are huge.

CatTorrent – E-Book and Audiobook Torrent Tracker

At the rate things are progressing in the BitTorrent community, it wouldn’t be a surprise if someone launches a torrent tracker for cats. Thankfully, CatTorrent has nothing to do with cats. On the contrary, it’s an underrated private tracker that tracks lots of audiobooks and e-books. CatTorrent should not be mistaken for an E-learning tracker – it mostly indexes fiction and doesn’t have much educational content. In a world populated by thousands of general trackers, it’s really great to see the likes of CatTorrent around – if you love audiobooks/e-books, public registrations are open right now.

There aren’t many sites similar to CatTorrent out there. Two torrent trackers that come to mind are My Anonamouse (Open via IRC Recruitment) and MakeGreatMusic. With MakeGreatMusic shutting down for good, the demand for CT probably went even higher. Some of you may never have heard about it but CT is not one of those isolated, ghost town of a tracker. The site tracks over 3600 torrents and has an active user base in excess of 2600 members.

As for the content, CatTorrent mainly tracks E-Books (in PDF, LIT and TXT formats) and Audiobooks. There are some good E-book collection torrents available, in addition to individual book downloads. CT probably has one of the largest audiobook libraries in a BT tracker with over 3000 torrents indexed under this category.

Download speeds are generally good on CT with some torrents (ones with an animated blue icon next to them) hosted on seedboxes. There is no use talking about pre times as this tracker mostly has non scene uploads. A seed bonus system also exists.

ConCen tracker is the new Conspiracy Central

During the past two and half years, we’ve featured here on FILEnetworks Blog many different types of private torrent trackers. Out of all those torrent sites, I don’t think there was any other tracker that matched the content on Conspiracy Central. As we mentioned back in 2008, Conspiracy Central (CC) was a private torrent tracker that indexed all things related to conspiracy theories, secret government projects, myths, paranormal activities, etc. However some of you might have noticed that CC is no longer accessible from its former URL http://tracker.conspiracycentral.net. This is because the site has re-branded itself as ConCen and is now accessible from a new domain. We don’t know if there were any conspiracies involved with the move but the site definitely wasn’t shut down.

The move from Conspiracy Central to ConCen (which if I remember correctly was due to an internal dispute and one party threatening to sue the others if they continued to use the name Conspiracy Central) has not resulted in any data loss. All user accounts, torrents and even forum posts have been migrated to the new location. Despite being a very specialized tracker that caters to a select segment of internet users, ConCen seems to be a very popular torrent site. It currently tracks over 8800 torrents and has a huge user base in excess of 26000 members.

Indexed content is where ConCen becomes really interesting. Whether you believe in conspiracies or not, you’ll surely find some crazy ass torrents on this tracker. Some of the topics covered on ConCen include conspiracies, UFO incidents, secret projects, secret societies, religious and historical mysteries, legends, ghosts, monsters, assassinations, ‘big brother’ and so on. ConCen does have scene releases but majority are p2p originated torrents. Works of unknown authors as well as reputed publishers such as NGC, Discovery and BBC can be found on this tracker. Available formats range from Video documentaries to PDF E-books. Don’t forget to check out ConCen forums (http://forum.concen.org/) – it hosts some pretty interesting discussion threads as well.

Magic Warrior – Magic Torrent Tracker for Serious Magicians

Of all the types of private torrent trackers that are out there, magic trackers are probably the hardest to get into. There are so few of them online and even if you manage to get in, you either need to upload stuff and be very active in order to survive. Magic Warrior (MW) is another lesser known magic tracker that’s insanely hard to get into – not because it’s a level 999 secret tracker but because you need to actually know magic in order to pass the IRC interview. Yep, you need to have an advanced knowledge of magic if you are to get into this site.

Although a fairly unknown site, Magic Warrior has one of the biggest torrent indexes among specialized magic trackers – there are over 2700 active torrents indexed. However this tracker is very selective when it comes to recruiting new members. Only those with advanced knowledge of magic are able to get in and even folks who do get in need to upload a minimum of 2 new torrents each month in order to survive. This should probably explain the low member count of 220 users.

As you can see from the above screenshot, this tracker can be an excellent resource if you are actually into magic. Content spans across several categories including Card Magic, Close-Up Magic, Comedy Magic, Ebooks, Fire Magic, Flourish/XCM, Gambling Magic, Instructables, Kids/Balloon/Ju, Magic music, Mentalism, Misc Magic , Money Magic, Shows/Documenta, Stage Magic and Street Magic.

As you might have guessed, registrations for Magic Warrior are closed. The only way in is by completing the IRC interview. Let us reiterate that the entry requirements are very high – this is not a tracker you can get in by showing 2-3 ratio proofs from other sites. You need an advanced knowledge of magic even to be considered for the interview. And if you don’t, please don’t try to ‘collect’ this tracker and flood the IRC with requests – it’ll be a waste of both your and tracker admin’s time.

Bite My Torrent – Download radio talk shows, stand up comedy and more

Out of the thousands of private BitTorrent trackers that are online, there are only a handful sites that focus on recorded radio shows. If you love downloading popular radio talk shows and listening to them at leisure, you’ll be pleased to hear about Bite My Torrent (BMT) – it’s one of those rare trackers that focus on radio shows. BMT tracks daily episodes of some of most the popular shows aired in AM, FM and even satellite radio. It’s a niche tracker catering to a small segment of the torrent community but some of you might actually be surprised by the size of this site.

With over 7100 members and 3500 active torrents, Bite My Torrent is bigger than most mid sized General/0Day trackers. And that’s not all, users here seem to be very active. One of the best things about not-so-popular private torrent sites is that they are usually free of inactive collectors but are full of active members. Same goes for BMT – most of the new,popular torrents have well over 100 seeders on them.

As mentioned in the first paragraph, majority of the torrents on BiteMyTorrent are radio talk shows. Daily episodes of Opie and Anthony Show, The Hideout, Jason Ellis Show, Ron and Fez, Jim Breuer Show, Ants, Virus weekend programming and various other audio/video clips including stand-up comedy torrents can be found on this tracker. SeductionGR : BitTorrent tracker for money making, fitness, lifestyle and more

SeductionGR (SGR) is quite a different tracker to what we’ve been posting the last few days – it’s a BiTorrent site focusing on lifestyle related content (the name might imply it’s a porn tracker but it’s not). Content on this tracker is divided into three major themes; Money, Women and Life. A wealth of multimedia content as well as E-books can be found under each of these categories. SeductionGR used to have an application based signup system where each user had to be manually approved by staff. However, signups have now been opened and you can instantly create an account if interested.

Some of you might not have heard about this tracker before but it’s not a tiny site nor is it a new entrant to the BitTorrent scene. SeductionGR is a pretty mature community when it comes to private trackers. There are over 4300 registered members and 5500+ active torrents as of 9/7/2009. Let’s not forget the fact that this is a niche tracker.

As mentioned above, content on SeductionGR is broken into three main categories; Women, Money and Life. The ‘Women’ section has e-books, DVD video on styles, seduction, sexology, video seminars and so on. The ‘Money’ section has media related to making money, both offline and online. Finally the ‘Life’ section includes torrents related to fitness/body building, magic, NLP, hypnosis, etc. Actually there are lots of other categories – the list is too long to post here.

SeductionGR is now completely open to the public - the application based registration system is no more. Actually this was done a month ago & we somehow missed to update the blog. Anyways if you are interested in becoming a member of a decent lifestyle tracker, check this site out.

Comic Releech – Comedy torrent tracker for standups, movies, TV shows and audio

Although there are over a thousand private torrent trackers currently online, the BitTorrent community has long since wanted a new specialized comedy tracker. We’re not talking about general/movie or TV trackers with a few comedy Packs or several standups here and there but of an entire private tracker that’s dedicated to the comedy genre. This is exactly what Comic-Releech (CoR) is – a Gazelle based BitTorrent site for comedy movies, TV shows, stand ups, E-books and even audio recordings. It’s only been a week since the site has officially launched but the progress so far has been very promising.

For the 7 or so days it’s been online, CoR has managed to add 280+ registered members and 165+ active torrents. These are good stats considering the tracker has not had an open signup ever since its launch – at least not yet. As we mentioned earlier CoR is based on Gazelle, the BitTorrent tracker script pioneered by what.cd. A customized version of Gazelle is used with new user classes, custom style sheets (currently 4 styles available – BlueSketch (one that’s featured in screenshots of this article), TheJoker, BloodyHumor and Apollo), a bonus system, requests, forums and so on. CoR 1.1 which is due to be launched soon will contain more stylesheets, bugfixes and some user suggested features as well.

Speaking about the content on Comic Releech, it’s all about comedy. Comedy movies, comedy themed TV series, standups, e-books relating to comedy and audio clips can be found on this tracker. The following screenshot will help you get a better understanding of the site’s content:

Public registrations for CoR are currently closed – it probably won’t open up in the near future as well. However if you are looking forward to join this tracker, you can easily get in if you pass the IRC interview. This IRC interview consists of around 20 questions relating to BitTorrent – you don’t need to know rocket science to answer them and don’t worry they won’t make you write essays. The interview should be over in 10-15 minutes at most.

ScienceHD – Sci-Fi & Documentary Torrent Tracker - Open Signups Today

We sure do have a lot of promising new private torrent trackers popping up these days. Earlier we reported about a new Anime/Comic tracker Animatoonic and now we present you ScienceHD (SHD). ScienceHD is a Gazelle based private BitTorrent site which specializes in Sci-Fi (science fiction) movies, TV shows and premium documentaries related to science, nature, history, physics and lots of other interesting topics. Most of the content found on this tracker are in high definition (HD) format (1080p/720p MKV, etc). It’s only been a week since ScienceHD was officially launched and the site has already gotten off to a great start. SHD currently has a user base close to 800 members and tracks 350+ active torrents – excellent stats considering the site’s been closed to the public for the most part.

Speaking of the content on SHD, they can be grouped into two main categories; science fiction movies, TV shows (entertainment) and documentaries & other educational content (infotainment). From TV shows such as Heroes, Eureka to HD documentaries from premium publishers such as Discovery Channel, National Geographic, The History Channel, SHD has something for everyone. Unlike most other torrent sites, SHD is not full of scene releases found almost on every general/0day tracker. They do have a nice collection of unique and exclusive releases (this includes some great ebook packs in addition to the multimedia content) and their dedicated uploader/encoder team will see to it that this collection is continuously expanded.

Another point that must be noted is the download speeds on SHD. When you browse the torrent list, you might come across a lot of torrents with 1 seeder (this may change with the open registrations). Even though there is only one seeder, expect the torrents to have blazing fast download speeds - almost all torrents on SHD are uploaded using seedboxes.

ScienceHD has been closed to the public ever since it’s inception. However we hear from staff that the site is set to have it’s first open signup period sometime today (no one knows the exact time except the SysOP) EDIT: It’s open! When it comes to private BitTorrent sites there are only a few magic trackers such as Art of Misdirection (AoM), MagicianTorrents and AOMKiller. Our of these sites AoM almost never opens signups (once it did, due to a bug) and both MagicianTorrents and AOMKiller had been offline for quite some time. If you are interested in magic, juggling, clowning and ballooning torrents here is some good news – AOMKiller has returned from the prolonged period of downtime and is now open for public registrations.

AOMKiller is no longer accessible via the previous URL(www.aomk1.com) – the site has moved to http://www.neomagician.net. If memory serves correct this is the 3rd time AOMK has switched addresses. Anyways the URL change does not seem to have had any impact on the torrent index or the user database. As of 5/4/2009, AOMK tracks over 6000 magic torrents and has a registered user base in excess of 850 members.

AOMK has all sorts of magic, clowning and ballooning torrents (see categories below) but majority of these will not be available to new users. This tracker has a ‘required class’ system where torrents become unlocked as you get promoted to new users classes. You can see which user class is needed to download from a certain category from this page. Currently there aren't many torrents that new users can download but since the registrations were opened a day ago, expect more torrents to be added to this category soon.

Site is currently open for public registrations and we do not know for sure how long the open signups will continue. If you have any interes in the fields of magic, clowning, juggling or ballooning, go ahead and sign up.

How to get a free invite to ThePlace.BZ lifestyle tracker

Out of the several thousands private BitTorrent trackers out there, very few specialize in niches such as lifestyle content. The Place.bz is one such private tracker. From Food, Drinking and Cooking to Magic Illusions, this tracker has a wide array of content including videos, e-books and audio files related to day to day human life. The site has been closed for a while now but that does not mean you cannot get in. In fact, you can get invited for free via their IRC invites system.

How to get invited to ThePlace.bz

You need to get an IRC client installed. If you don’t already have one installed, we recommend you install mIRC. mIRC download links and a brief tutorial can be found here.
Once IRC client is set up, change you nickname to whatever nickname you want to have on ThePlace tracker (in mIRC, nickname can be changed in Tools—>Options menu.
Join ThePlace.BZ invites channel. This is located on IRC server irc.theplace.bz:6667 and the channel name is #invites. If you are using mIRC click on this direct link irc://irc.theplace.bz/invites to visit the channel.
Don’ PM anyone just yet. First read ThePlace FAQ and Rules.
Now visit www.theplace.bz/app.php. Read the background section carefully and answer the questions as instructed. Note that you need to answer each and every one of these (Write the answers in a text editor such as Notepad).
Once done answering, head back to the IRC room and paste your answers along with the question number in the main channel (don’t PM). Wait for someone to respond – do not leave the channel till you have got confirmation on your new ThePlace account.

Spirit Tracker (SpT) is a private torrent tracker that has a lot of content related to History, Education, Religion and various other topics. It actually is a general tracker but a lot of focus has been given to the aforementioned subjects (we had a hard time figuring out which category to place this tracker on). Most of the content on Spirit Tracker is unique and usually not found on any other BitTorrent sites out there.

Spirit Tracker is a pretty rare and an unknown tracker with only about 1000 registered members. But it sure does track a wealth of information. There are over 2000 torrents of E-Books, Audiobooks, Video/Audio documentaries, movies and TV Shows on a wide range of subjects such as history, education, religion, kids, military and so on (It’s difficult to explain everything in a single post). They have a lot of packs as well (Discovery/BBC/History Channel documentary packs, Movie packs, TV Show packs, etc). The community on Spirit Tracker is great- there are a lot of friendly and very active users. You get 1GB upload credit upon signup and you need to keep a global ratio of 0.5 or above. They have seed hour bonuses which will no doubt help a lot in maintaining a healthy ratio.

Spirit Tracker opens signups periodically when inactive accounts are deleted. Usually this leaves only 2-3 open spots at any given time. However, they seem to have done a cleanup right now and there are close to 150 spots available. If you hurry, you may get in before the signups close again.

SciFiTorrents – Science fiction movies, TV shows, E-books and other torrent downloads

SciFiTorrents is a private torrent tracker with a lot of Science Fiction (SciFi) themed content. You can find a fair amount of SciFi movies, TV Series, E-Books and even some Anime. You may not have heard about this tracker before but judging by the site’s stats, it’s quite popular; There are nearly 7000 registered members on SciFiTorrents and it currently tracks over 3500 torrents. There are both scene and non scene releases on this tracker. Bulk of the scene released content comprises of latest episodes of SciFi themed TV series and movie.

SciFiTorrents tracks a fair amount of unique packs. In addition, they have some classic and rare SciFi themed movies and TV Shows as well. You can find most of the packs and classic movies/TV Shows under Collections/Box and SciFi Classics categories.

Like any other tracker, SciFiTorrents is not perfect. Some of the torrents on this tracker have only one seeder. In such cases, the torrent will still be downloadable but download speeds may suffer. Also, the layout of SciFiTorrentsis not the best one around (this is my personal opinion) but it’s still usable.

Signups are currently open and interested readers may join for free. It’s a great tracker to have, specially if you are a fan of SciFi content so check it out.
