Tvgorge – Watch Full TV Episodes Online From Anywhere In The World

If you rely on the internet to watch TV shows you most probably use a BitTorrent tracker to fulfill your needs. However, online video streaming sites seem to be an equally popular medium among TV fanatics. One worrying factor is that largest free streaming sites such as Hulu, Fancast, etc don’t work outside the United States. It’s a little retarded as it’s the countries *outside* the US that would mostly benefit from such services. Why? Because in some regions (such as Sri Lanka), you don’t always get to watch the latest episodes of US/Canadian shows even if you subscribe to cable or satellite TV with premium channels (sometimes episodes are aired weeks later than their original US airdate). Anyways if you are looking to watch TV shows online from anywhere in the world without restrictions, check Tvgorge out. It’s a new free service that actually works.

So what exactly is TVgorge? A brief introduction is given in their ‘About Us’ page which is quoted below:

TVGorge.com's mission is to bring high quality streaming television shows to the masses. We accomplish this by searching and indexing TV streaming websites around the globe. Once our proprietary script has found the best source for a given TV show, it automatically compiles the information for our database.

Best thing about this service is that you don’t get redirected to a dozen external sites whenever you try to watch an episode (which is the case with most streaming sites out there). Although TVgorge gathers content from external sources, you get to watch all streaming feeds through the site’s own embedded media player based on the open source flowplayer. In other words, watching something you like is usually a one click process on TVgorge – quick, without any crap involved.

Albeit a new service, TVgorge already indexes thousands of episodes related to more than 125 different TV shows spanning across multiple seasons. All of the shows featured on this site come complete with episode guides and are searchable either by episode number or by season. Both new content as well as previously aired episodes that belong to older seasons are indexed. Video quality was medium for most of the episodes (looked like they were captured from HDTV streams) we checked but it was very watchable.

All in all Tvgorge is an excellent solution for folks in countries that are restricted by Hulu.com and the likes. If this service continues to grow (and runs without  interference from rights holders), it’ll definitely be embraced by TV show fans all over the world.
