You’ll probably have trouble reading the name of this tracker as there are several words jammed together :) Anyway it’s ‘Over Top Rope Torrents’ – a specialized Wrestling torrent site. Although not exactly a brand new tracker, OverTopRopeTorrents has never been featured here on FILEnetworks Blog before. Content related to popular Wrestling events and competitions such as ECW, WCW, WWF, WWE and TNA can be found here. In addition to Wrestling, this tracker indexes a limited number of MMA torrents as well. You may have never heard about this site before but OverTopRopeTorrents is by no means a tiny torrent site.
You’d be surprised if we said this tracker was launched back in January 2009. This is true and OTRT’s progress during the past ten or so months has been quite impressive. The site currently tracks over 1250 torrents and has a registered user base of 6350+ members. For a rather unknown niche tracker, amount of activity seen here is pretty good.
You can find a lot of Wrestling related content on OverTopRopeTorrents. From regular TV shows to specials, torrents related to ECW, WCW, WWF, WWE, TNA and lots of other federations are available for download. It’s not only the events that are tracked – even some movies related to Wrestling are indexed.
Talking about the interface, OTRT is built on TS Tracker special edition. In short, there is nothing revolutionary here in terms of looks. Standard set of features found in most torrent trackers can also be found on OTRT. This includes forums, search, bonus system, requests, bookmarks, etc. In addition there is a betting system (/betting.php) where users can place bets on the outcome of select Wrestling events. This feature however is only available to power users and above.
