Well the recent influx of popular PC games does not seem to be ending anytime soon. Just after the release of FIFA 2011, here’s another highly anticipated title that sports video game fanatics will enjoy – Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2011 is finally here and the game was released to the public on the 30th of September in European region. PES 2011 gameplay does not need much explaining – it’s a football simulation with arcade elements mixed in. Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 – How to change game settings

Like most PC games released nowadays, you can’t configure a lot of settings while in-game. This however can be done prior to launch, with the help of the settings application in PES 2011 installation directory. This utility however does not automatically pop up the first time you launch the game so many people don’t even know of it’s existence. To launch the settings utility, do the following steps:

  • Navigate to PES 2011 installation folder on your hard drive (Default is C:\Program Files\KONAMI\PES 2011)
  • Locate the file settings.exe and run it. You should now be able to change various game settings, including screen resolution and controller settings.

How to change commentary language in PES 2011

If you want to change PES 2011’s commentary language to something other than the default, it’s possible with commentary patches made available by PES-Patch.com. Following are some commentary patches currently available – note that these only work with the full version of the game (no Demo support). Installing a commentary patch is as easy as moving the extracted file into the game’s installation directory.
