There’s been a lot of BitTorrent invite forums popping up lately. In addition to well established sites such as FileSharingTalk, The Pirate Society, TrackeReactor, ETiV, etc, a number of newer sites too have spawned thanks to the ever increasing popularity of BitTorrent. Here’s a little head’s up on two such forums that are currently open for registrations; InviteNation and BTRealm. InviteNation has been around for some time (as a closed registration forum for the most part) and BTRealm is a brand new site. We won’t be presenting in depth reviews of these sites (it’s the new year and it should not be spent writing blog posts :p ) but here are some summarized details and registration links if you are interested.

Description: InviteNation is an anti-trader BitTorrent forum launched back in February 2009. Apart from the usual features such as giveaway threads, request threads, etc IN has an interesting thread called ‘Sneak Peeks. Through this, you can request screenshots of sites you are interested in but are not a member of (edited screens for secret sites). They also have a good BT news section. This is InviteNation’s first open signup since launch and registrations will open on 12:01 am Jan 1st UMT and will remain open till 3rd of January 2010. Note that users who do not make at least one post during the first 48 hours after registration will be pruned.
BTRealm

Description: You probably may not have heard about this site anywhere else – as far as we know this is BTRealm’s first public mention. It’s a brand new invite forum and seems to be run by a few dedicated torrenters who’ve already put together a nice set of features for the site. Nothing much can be said about BTRealm at this point – only time will tell if it becomes a success or a failure and we wish them good luck.
